On July 18, 2025, actors and musicians Jonathan Jackson and Clare Bowen captivated fans at The Brokerage on Long Island. The pair, known for their roles in the acclaimed television series “Nashville,” delivered a heartfelt performance that resonated with the audience. “Thank you for being here,” Jackson expressed warmly, while Bowen added, “We are so happy to be back here. It’s a privilege and a pleasure to get to play with you.”

Jackson, who recently returned to the ABC daytime drama “General Hospital,” shared his excitement about receiving an Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.” This nomination marks another achievement in his career, having won a total of five Emmy awards in previous years. Reflecting on the nomination process, he explained, “The last time I was there, I would pick two episodes and send every scene from those episodes. This time, they told me I could send in as many scenes from as many episodes as I wanted, but it had to be under 15 minutes.”

The concert also featured discussions about Jackson’s Greek Orthodox faith, which he described as transformative. He emphasized the significance of his travels to Greece since 2015, where he has visited ancient monasteries. “These monks pray eight to 14 hours a day… They pray for us and the world,” he noted. “It’s humbling knowing that there are thousands of souls dedicated to praying for all of us.”

The acoustic set commenced with “Moon Is High,” followed by “World on Time” and “The Giver.” The duo announced their upcoming performance at the iconic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville as part of the “Nashville: Encore” Tour scheduled for January 2026. In a standout moment, Bowen’s pristine vocals shone during their rendition of “Not in Nottingham,” a song from Disney’s “Robin Hood.” Jackson invited his wife, Elisa, on stage, where she shared their love story, which began on the set of “General Hospital.” Bowen expressed her delight, saying, “I am so glad you are here,” to Elisa.

Reflecting on his time working with co-stars Anthony Geary and Genie Francis, Jackson described it as one of the most important experiences of his life. “I love Genie so much; she protected me as a young performer,” he remarked. The duo also performed “If I Didn’t Know Better,” which marked their first song together at the Bridgestone Arena during the “Nashville” Tour.

A particularly memorable moment occurred when Brandon Young joined Bowen in a duet of Beyoncé’s “Halo,” showcasing her impressive vocal control. Jackson concluded the show with “Darkest of Hours” and the poignant “A Life That’s Good,” which resonated deeply with the audience, feeling almost like a prayer.

As the performance wrapped up, the artists expressed their gratitude to the fans for helping them achieve their dreams. “Lord, I pray you have a life that’s good,” they sang in unison, earning a standing ovation from the enthusiastic crowd.

Overall, Jonathan Jackson and Clare Bowen delivered a memorable show at The Brokerage in Bellmore, Long Island. Their performance was a joyful celebration of music and storytelling, creating an intimate atmosphere as if they were singing in the audience’s living room.
