Pamela Anderson and Sons Launch Barb Wire TV Reboot Project

Pamela Anderson is collaborating with her sons, Brandon and Dylan Lee, to produce a television reboot of her iconic 1996 film, Barb Wire. This project marks the inaugural venture for their new production company, And-Her-Sons Productions, and is being developed in partnership with Universal Content Productions and Dark Horse Comics.
Details of the Reboot
The original film, set against the backdrop of a fictional U.S. civil war in 2017, followed the story of Barbara Kopetski, known as Barb Wire, a bounty hunter navigating the tumultuous landscape of the free city of Steel Harbor. The character has its roots in Dark Horse Comics, which also backs this new series.
While specifics regarding casting, production schedules, and a release date have yet to be disclosed, reports indicate that filming could occur in Canada, where Anderson resides on Vancouver Island. Notably, the reboot will introduce a different actress in the lead role, diverging from Anderson’s original portrayal.
Previous Collaborations and Recent Projects
This initiative is not the first time Pamela Anderson has worked closely with her sons. In 2023, Brandon produced the Netflix documentary Pamela: A Love Story, which highlighted his mother’s life and career. He followed this up with The Last Showgirl in 2024, featuring Anderson in another prominent role.
Both Brandon and Dylan have also appeared in Anderson’s reality television projects, including Pamela’s Garden of Eden and Pamela’s Cooking with Love, showcasing their family dynamic beyond the world of scripted entertainment.
Recently, Anderson made a notable appearance in the reboot of The Naked Gun, acting alongside Liam Neeson, further demonstrating her enduring presence in the entertainment industry.
With the launch of And-Her-Sons Productions, the trio aims to blend their creative talents, offering a fresh take on a beloved character while solidifying their family legacy in film and television.
