Rock Legends Set to Dominate Toronto’s 2026 Concert Scene
Toronto’s music scene is gearing up for a vibrant year in 2026, with a remarkable lineup of rock concerts scheduled to invigorate the city. Major acts such as The Guess Who, Rush, and Triumph are set to make their long-awaited returns, alongside iconic bands like Guns N’ Roses and Foo Fighters. The calendar is filled with performances that promise to attract fans from across the region and beyond.
Major Rock Acts Taking Center Stage
The excitement kicks off on April 24, when Triumph takes the stage at Scotiabank Arena. This marks the band’s first tour in three decades, celebrating their 50th anniversary. The lineup will feature drummer-vocalist Gil Moore and guitar-vocalist Rik Emmett, although bassist-keyboardist Mike Levine will only join for select dates.
A month later, on May 30, The Guess Who will perform at the same venue, marking their first tour in 23 years under their iconic name. The original members Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings will reunite after regaining the rights to the band name following a legal settlement.
On June 29, Evanescence will return to the stage at RBC Amphitheatre with new music, including their latest single, “Fight Like A Girl.” The excitement continues on July 22 with Motley Crue, who will perform as part of the 20th anniversary celebration of their Carnival of Sins tour.
The summer heats up with the Double Trouble Double Vision tour on July 30, featuring both Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foreigner at RBC Amphitheatre. Fans can expect a night filled with classic hits from these veteran rockers.
The Foo Fighters will launch their North American tour in Toronto on August 4 at Rogers Stadium, introducing new drummer Ilan Rubin to concertgoers. Just a day later, on August 5, Guns N’ Roses will perform after a successful world tour in 2025, showcasing their new songs “Nothin” and “Atlas.”
Fans of Rush will be thrilled to learn that the band is reuniting for performances on August 7, 9, 11, and 13 at Scotiabank Arena. The concert marks their first tour since the passing of drummer Neil Peart in 2020, with Anika Nilles filling in on drums.
Finally, the summer concert season will close with Iron Maiden and Megadeth on August 29-30 at Scotiabank Arena, followed by AC/DC on September 16 at Rogers Stadium, as they continue their Power Up tour.
Spotlight on Other Notable Performances
In addition to the rock-heavy lineup, Toronto will welcome several prominent artists from various genres. Notable female headliners include Brandi Carlile on February 18, Florence + the Machine on April 16, and Cardi B on March 30, all performing at Scotiabank Arena.
The British music scene will also be represented, with Lily Allen scheduled for April 7-8 at Massey Hall, and Ed Sheeran performing from August 21-23 at Rogers Centre.
Additionally, country music fans can look forward to performances by Eric Church on February 12, Luke Combs on June 5-6, and Zach Bryan on September 21-22, showcasing the diverse musical offerings in Toronto next year.
With so many exciting concerts planned, 2026 promises to be a landmark year for music lovers in Toronto, blending classic rock legends with contemporary stars across a variety of genres.
