Sinfonietta DuPage to Host Fall Concert Featuring Brazilian Cellist
The Sinfonietta DuPage is set to present its annual Fall concert on November 25, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will take place at Peace Church, located at 21W500 Butterfield Road, Lombard. This year’s performance will feature the acclaimed Brazilian cellist Leonardo Altino, who will showcase his talents in Saint-Saëns’ Cello Concerto No. 1.
Altino is recognized for his remarkable skill as a concerto soloist and has performed in numerous solo recitals across the globe. His inclusion in the concert promises to deliver an extraordinary musical experience for attendees.
In addition to Altino’s performance, the Sinfonietta DuPage orchestra will also present Louise Farrenc’s Symphony No. 1 and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Overture Der Schauspieldirektor. These pieces are expected to complement Altino’s performance, enhancing the evening’s artistic offerings.
Tickets for the concert will only be available at the door. Adult admission is priced at $22, while tickets for students and seniors are available for $12. The venue offers free parking, and attendees can expect ample seating in an intimate setting, making it a perfect environment for enjoying classical music.
