Dermatique Laser and Skin Marks 20 Years of Transformative Care
Dermatique Laser and Skin, a renowned medical spa and laser clinic in Geneva, has celebrated its 20th anniversary. Founded in 2005 by family physician Gina Lesnik, the clinic has established itself as a leader in aesthetic medicine. After five years of operation, Lora Kassaros joined Lesnik as a partner, significantly contributing to the practice’s growth and stability.
The partnership has emphasized the philosophy that aesthetics is rooted in education, honest treatment solutions, and subtle enhancements that can transform lives. Kassaros articulated this vision in a recent news release, stating, “This business is personal. We’ve found that when people lean into becoming who they choose to be, confidence naturally follows.” She highlighted the importance of normalizing self-care as an essential aspect of overall wellness, asserting that confidence, aging, and beauty should be viewed as personal expressions rather than societal prescriptions.
Both Lesnik and Kassaros expressed deep gratitude for the community’s support over the years. Lesnik remarked, “We are you – our patients, our neighbors. We’re moms, wives, daughters, friends, and now even grandmothers. Our patients trust us because we live the same lives they do.” This connection has allowed Dermatique to flourish, earning national recognition as an industry leader in aesthetics.
Community Engagement and Industry Leadership
Dermatique Laser and Skin is not only known for its innovative treatments but also for its commitment to community engagement. The practice has served as a training site for medical residents, providing hands-on experience in aesthetic medicine. Kassaros noted, “We’ve always stayed at the forefront of growth and innovation while remaining deeply rooted in Geneva.” As the longest-standing tenant of Dodson Place, Dermatique has actively contributed to local initiatives, including fundraising for breast cancer through its annual Wrinkle Erase for a Cure campaign and adopting families through Tri-City Family Services during the holiday season.
The clinic’s dedication to giving back has fostered a strong bond with the community. Lesnik reflected, “Our town embraced us, and in turn, we’ve embraced it back. That bond is at the heart of our 20-year journey.”
With accolades from Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest-growing businesses in 2021, 2022, and 2024, Dermatique Laser and Skin continues to set standards in the aesthetics industry, focusing on empowering individuals through personalized care. As the clinic looks to the future, its founders remain committed to the principles of education and wellness that have guided them for two decades.
