Dr. Ahmed Eldib has joined the team at Morris Hospital Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Ottawa, where he began seeing patients in early August. His arrival introduces advanced surgical techniques in hip and knee procedures to the community, enhancing the hospital’s orthopedic offerings.
Dr. Eldib is fellowship-trained in adult orthopedic reconstruction, specializing in conditions affecting the hip and knee. He provides expertise in innovative surgical options, including anterior hip replacements and Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery for total hip, total knee, and partial knee replacements. These cutting-edge procedures are now accessible to patients at Morris Hospital.
A native of New York, Dr. Eldib earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at SUNY and further honed his skills during a fellowship in adult reconstruction at NorthShore University HealthSystem in Skokie, Illinois. Since joining Morris Hospital in 2023, he has made significant contributions to the orthopedic department.

Dr. Eldib performs a variety of surgeries at both Morris Hospital and the Deerpath Ambulatory Surgery Center. In addition to these specialties, he is also experienced in managing lower extremity orthopedic trauma cases.
