Logel Homes Unveils Largest Project, Meridian Seton, in Calgary
Logel Homes has launched its largest development to date, named Meridian Seton, marking a significant milestone in the Calgary housing market. This ambitious project features 790 homes spread across ten buildings, with the first units available for purchase starting in late October 2023.
Focus on Community and First-Time Buyers
Brayden Logel, president of Logel Homes, emphasized the company’s commitment to fostering a strong sense of community. “Our main focus is on buyers who want to live in the home as our residents benefit from pride of ownership and community,” he stated. The development primarily targets first-time homebuyers and those looking to downsize, who together represent approximately 80 percent of their purchaser mix.
Prices for the one-bedroom and two-bedroom condos at Meridian Seton start at $209,900 plus GST and $259,900 plus GST, respectively. The project aims not only to provide housing but also to create a vibrant community environment from the ground up.
Meridian Seton continues Logel Homes’ collaboration with Brookfield Residential, which oversees the overall design and development of the Seton community. Logel Homes acquires land within Seton to construct residential units, ensuring that each development aligns with both the company’s standards and the desires of prospective buyers.
Community Amenities Enhance Living Experience
In August 2023, the Seton Homeowners Association opened “The Block,” a new 14,000-square-foot community centre exclusively for residents and their guests. The facility includes multipurpose rooms, gym amenities, a kitchen, and various gathering spaces for community events and casual meetings.
This centre is part of an expansive six-acre community space that offers a range of recreational and cultural facilities, including a splash park, skating area, fire pit, picnic shelters, hockey rink, pickleball courts, and a playground. These features contribute to the overall appeal of the Meridian Seton development.
Logel highlighted the importance of selecting prime locations for new developments. “Every Logel Home development is carefully assessed when we purchase the land ensuring it’s meeting not only our criteria, but also our customers,” he explained. The focus is on “A-plus” locations, which offer great walkability and proximity to amenity-rich retail and shopping areas. Meridian Seton is situated conveniently near a grocery store and a movie theatre, with Brookfield’s Market Street just a five-minute walk away, featuring diverse dining options and leisure facilities.
This customer-centric approach has driven Logel Homes’ recent recognition at the CustomerInsight Home Owner Mark of Excellence (H.O.M.E.) Awards, where the company won the award for Best Customer Experience in the Calgary multi-family category for developments with more than 250 homes. This marks their tenth win overall at the H.O.M.E. Awards, a testament to their dedication to enhancing the customer experience in homebuilding.
“It’s great to be recognized amongst a group of peers in the homebuilding industry who are also striving to elevate the customer experience,” Logel noted. The awards are determined solely based on customer reviews, reflecting Logel Homes’ commitment to quality and service.
As Logel Homes continues to expand its footprint in Calgary, Meridian Seton represents a significant investment in the community, offering modern housing solutions while fostering a sense of belonging among residents.
