On October 2, 2023, McDonald’s restaurants in Trenton will host a special event aimed at enhancing heart care at the Trenton Memorial Hospital. The initiative, known as McDonald’s Hospital Day, invites customers to support the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation (TMHF) simply by enjoying their favorite menu items.

For one day only, McDonald’s will donate $1 from every Big Mac and every McChicken sold, along with $0.50 from each medium to extra-large coffee purchased. These funds will directly benefit the acquisition of priority medical equipment for the hospital, specifically four new Holter monitors, which are essential for monitoring and diagnosing heart conditions.

Community Engagement and Support

In addition to the proceeds from menu sales, volunteers from the TMH Foundation will be present at various participating locations, primarily at drive-throughs, to collect additional donations. This collaborative effort emphasizes the importance of community involvement in supporting local health services.

Participating locations include the McDonald’s at Trenton Town Center, where patrons can easily contribute to the cause while enjoying their meals. This initiative not only aims to raise funds but also heightens awareness about heart health and the vital services provided by Trenton Memorial Hospital.

The funds raised during McDonald’s Hospital Day will significantly enhance the hospital’s capabilities in cardiac care, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective monitoring. By participating in this event, customers can play a crucial role in supporting their local healthcare system.

As the event approaches, community members are encouraged to mark their calendars and visit their local McDonald’s on October 2. Every purchase can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those needing heart care at Trenton Memorial Hospital.
