Rochelle Community Hospital Closes 2nd Street Entrance for Upgrades

Rochelle Community Hospital has officially closed the Second Street entrance to its Health & Wellness Center as part of an ongoing facilities improvement initiative. This significant renovation is aimed at enhancing services provided to the community and is expected to take place over several years.

The changes, which began in September, include a major expansion of the Health & Wellness Building located on the south side of the hospital campus. The hospital has re-routed the entrance to the Health & Wellness Center, making it accessible from Third Street, adjacent to the emergency exit. This update was completed on September 26.

As of October 1, the entrance from Second Street is no longer in use. All patients and visitors are now required to access the Health & Wellness Center, along with the Family Healthcare Clinic and Multi-Specialty Clinic, through the newly established Third Street entrance.
