Cameron Whitcomb Shines at CCMA Awards, Wins Two Prestigious Honors

A rising star in the Canadian country music scene, Cameron Whitcomb celebrated significant victories at the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards on September 13, 2023. Held at Prospera Place in Kelowna, Whitcomb took home both the Fan’s Choice Award and the Breakthrough Artist of the Year, marking a pivotal moment in his burgeoning career.
Whitcomb, who is known for hits like “Quitter” and “Gasoline and Matches,” has quickly captured the hearts of fans across Canada. The James Barker Band secured the title of Group of the Year, and Owen Riegling was honored with Album of the Year for “Bruce County (From the Beginning).”
