Community Gathers to Celebrate Life of Gwen Viola Wolowich

The community will come together to honor the life of Gwen Viola Wolowich, who passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 93. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for December 5, 2025, from 14:00 to 18:00 at Grand Gardens, located at 1324 Great Northern Road.

Wolowich, born on September 16, 1932, leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. Her family invites friends and community members to join in remembering her contributions and the joy she brought to many lives. The event will provide an opportunity for attendees to share stories and express their condolences.

Following the celebration, an internment ceremony will take place at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. Family members have expressed their gratitude for the support they have received during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer Society. Donations can be made via cheque or through online platforms, providing a meaningful way to honor Gwen’s memory and support a cause that is significant to her family.
