The BC Home + Garden Show is set to take place from March 12 to 15, 2026, at the Vancouver Convention Centre West. This year, more than 300 exhibitors will gather to showcase the latest trends in home improvement, design, and landscaping, providing a wealth of inspiration for visitors interested in refreshing their living spaces.

Madelyne Lemieux, show coordinator for Marketplace Events, expressed enthusiasm about returning to Vancouver. “We are excited to bring the show back to Vancouver this year and look forward to stepping into a new location at the Vancouver Convention Centre,” she stated. The event promises to offer a variety of resources for those looking to enhance their home and garden.

One of the highlights will be the Sleep Country Main Stage, presented in collaboration with Home Network and The Vancouver Sun. Attendees can engage with industry experts covering topics from renovations to smart home solutions. Among the featured speakers is real estate expert and television host Kortney Wilson, who will present her session titled “Designed to Stay, Styled to Sell: Life Is Messy, But Your Home Doesn’t Have to Be.”

The lineup also includes Adam Weir, a renovation expert, and Graeme Huguet, a custom home builder from My House Design/Build Team. Horticulturalist Egan Davis will discuss contemporary gardening trends, appealing to both seasoned gardeners and novices alike.

For creative souls, Calgary-based muralist Rachel Lyon will host a live mural project titled “Paint with Purpose.” Lyon will collaborate with fellow muralists Susan Phan and Angel Kao to create a vibrant botanical mural, which will later be donated to a Vancouver charity. “I’m bringing two muralist friends of mine to help me out,” Lyon explained. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions as the artists work on the mural over the course of the event.

The show will also feature a Cooking Stage, where culinary talents like Chef Bruno Feldeisen from The Great Canadian Baking Show will showcase their skills. Other participating chefs include Carissa Kasper from Seed & Nourish and Harris Sakalis, executive chef at Fairmont Waterfront. “Food lovers won’t want to miss the Cooking Stage,” Lemieux noted, highlighting that participants can expect live demonstrations and culinary insights.

Additionally, visitors can explore energy-saving solutions at the BC Hydro Learning Centre, while local artisans will showcase their crafts at The Collective Markets. The event will also feature the Art Market, where attendees can discover unique pieces of local art.

As housing trends evolve, the show will highlight innovative renovation solutions and sustainable home designs. Attendees will have the chance to explore a new model from B.C. prefabricated home builder Hewing Haus, reflecting the rising interest in small-scale and energy-efficient living options. “With the rising cost of living, we’re seeing a big interest in small-scale vacation homes, rental suite conversions and energy-efficient upgrades,” Lemieux noted.

The BC Home + Garden Show presents an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in home improvement and gardening. For more information on the Main Stage and Cooking Stage schedule, along with details about features, workshops, and ticketing, visit bchomeandgardenshow.com.
