Experience Comfort with Sundays’ Get Together Sofa Review
The Get Together sofa, crafted by the Canadian company Sundays, has garnered attention for its luxurious design and durability. Priced from $5,450, it promises comfort and style for any living space. After a month of extensive testing, I share my insights on its features, delivery, and overall performance.
Founded in 2019 in Vancouver by four friends, Sundays aims to simplify the furniture shopping experience. With a focus on online sales, the company operates a few showrooms across Canada and the United States. I had the opportunity to visit the Ossington showroom in Toronto to see the Get Together sofa in person, which allowed me to select the perfect configuration for my home.
The sofa is modular, meaning it can be customized to fit different spaces. I opted for a three-seater with an ottoman in Cream Linen, one of six available neutral colors. The design is modern yet inviting, enhancing the warmth of my living area without overwhelming existing decor.
Delivery and Assembly Experience
Upon ordering, the delivery process was straightforward. Within a couple of weeks, I was contacted to arrange a convenient delivery time. On the designated day, the delivery team promptly informed me as they approached my home. They expertly unboxed and assembled each module of the sofa, though there was a minor issue regarding centering it on the rug. After a brief discussion, they positioned it correctly, and the overall assembly process remained efficient.
Key Features and Comfort Assessment
One of my favorite aspects of the Get Together sofa is its appearance. The modern design blends seamlessly into my home, which has often been described as “cold” due to its predominant white decor. The cream shade creates a cozy atmosphere, especially when accented with colorful throw pillows from Annie Selke.
The luxury of the sofa becomes apparent as soon as you sit down. The combination of soft, high-quality fabric and supportive cushions provides a comfortable seating experience. Unlike many sofas that require frequent fluffing, the Get Together maintains its shape remarkably well, even after extensive use. Its fabric is advertised as stain-resistant, a feature I tested unintentionally when watering a nearby plant. The spill wiped away easily, confirming its practicality for everyday life.
While the sofa comes in six appealing colors, I found the options limited for those seeking a bold statement piece. Additionally, the attachment between the ottoman and the sofa can be tricky. I chose to keep the ottoman separate for flexibility, but aligning the attachments can be somewhat finicky.
In conclusion, the Sundays Get Together sofa is an impressive investment for those looking for comfort and durability in their living space. With its stylish design and practical features, it is not merely a temporary piece of furniture but a lasting addition to any home. I recommend it to anyone comfortable with the price and seeking a high-quality sofa that will endure the test of time. As I continue to enjoy my Get Together sofa, I am confident that it will remain a centerpiece in my living area for years to come.
