Giant Bounce House Arrives in Vancouver for Nine-Day Festival

A massive inflatable attraction, known as The World’s Largest Bounce House, has made its way to Vancouver, offering a unique entertainment experience from August 22 to 31, 2023. Hosted by Big Bounce Canada and organized by XL Event Lab, this temporary fun park is set up at Concord Pacific Place, providing a vibrant space for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
The event features eight air-filled attractions, some reaching heights of 32 feet. The bounce house offers timed entry and age-specific sessions to cater to families. Attendees can explore various activities, including photo-op slides, ball pits, climbing towers, and basketball hoops. Oversized characters in an array of colours and shapes add to the whimsical atmosphere.
Across the street from BC Place Stadium, green turf has been laid down to enhance the experience. The event includes DJ music, live announcements during races, and amenities such as lockers, food trucks, and water fill stations. Visitors are advised to bring their own drinks to avoid long lines at hydration stations.
During a recent 6 p.m. session, some guests faced minor injuries, as the inflatables can lead to bumps and bruises from playful collisions. An on-site medic was available to assist those in need. Unfortunately, the last session of the day was cut short by 40 minutes due to technical difficulties, with some inflatables being unplugged early.
For families seeking entertainment before the school year begins, this bounce house offers a fun and active alternative to screen time. Parents and guardians who do not wish to bounce can enjoy people-watching and take in the stunning views of False Creek. Tickets for the event start at $39 for sessions tailored to toddlers, juniors, bigger kids, and adults.
Overall, The World’s Largest Bounce House presents an exciting opportunity for Vancouver residents and visitors to engage in a playful environment while enjoying the last days of summer.
