Helmar Lutheran Church Hosts Fundraiser Dinner to Support Local Pantry
Helmar Lutheran Church is set to host a fundraiser dinner on January 17, 2024, from 16:30 to 19:00 at its location on 11935 Lisbon Road. The event aims to raise funds to support the church’s food pantry, providing vital assistance to the local community.
Guests can enjoy a buffet-style dinner featuring ham, kumla—a traditional baked potato dish—along with applesauce, dessert, and a selection of beverages. For those unable to dine in, carry-out meals will also be available.
In addition to the meal, attendees can participate in a themed basket raffle, adding an element of excitement to the evening. Proceeds from both the dinner and the raffle will go directly to the church’s food pantry, which serves individuals and families in need.
A freewill offering will be accepted, allowing attendees to contribute according to their means. For further information regarding the event, interested parties can contact the church at 815-201-3789.
This fundraiser serves not only as a delicious meal opportunity but also as a way for the community to come together and support a vital service. Helmar Lutheran Church encourages everyone to attend and contribute to this important cause.
