Host a Transformative “Event with Impact” This Fall and Winter
The Winnipeg Free Press is encouraging individuals and organizations to host their own “Event with Impact” this fall and winter, aimed at fostering community engagement and support. This initiative invites participants to create meaningful events that contribute positively to their communities.
Engagement Opportunities for All
The program emphasizes the importance of involvement, inviting local residents to take part in activities that can make a difference. The Winnipeg Free Press emphasizes that anyone can be a change-maker by organizing events that resonate with their local communities. This campaign is designed not only to enhance community ties but also to provide a platform for creative expression.
Interested individuals are encouraged to consider various types of events, from fundraising activities to educational workshops. The goal is to create gatherings that inspire and mobilize community members, ultimately leading to a more connected society.
Subscription Changes and Offers
In addition to promoting community events, the Winnipeg Free Press has announced updates to its subscription model. New subscribers can take advantage of an introductory offer priced at $4.00 plus GST every four weeks for the first 24 weeks. After this period, the subscription will revert to the regular rate of $19.00 plus GST every four weeks.
Current subscribers will see modest adjustments as well. After the next billing cycle, their payments will increase by $1.00, bringing the total to $16.99 plus GST for four weeks. Following this, the cost will rise to $23.99 plus GST every four weeks. Subscribers have the freedom to cancel at any time.
The Winnipeg Free Press aims to keep its readers informed and engaged while offering opportunities to contribute to the community through impactful events.
