Marseilles Church Celebrates Reverend Bill Clark’s Retirement
The Marseilles Church of the Nazarene is set to host an open house in honor of Reverend Bill Clark’s retirement on October 25, 2023, from 1 to 5 p.m. This special event will take place in the church’s fellowship hall, allowing community members and churchgoers to come together to celebrate Clark’s significant contributions to the church.
Reverend Clark has dedicated his ministry to serving congregations in both Illinois and Oklahoma since he began his work in January 1989. He has been a pivotal figure at the Marseilles Church of the Nazarene since December 1998, providing spiritual guidance and support to the congregation for over two decades.
The open house will feature a variety of refreshments, including cake and other foods, allowing attendees to share their memories and express their gratitude for Clark’s service. The church, located at 1292 Morris Road in Marseilles, invites all those who wish to honor the Reverend’s legacy to participate in this gathering.
As Reverend Clark embarks on this new chapter of his life, the Marseilles Church community looks forward to showing their appreciation for his years of dedicated ministry and leadership. His retirement marks the end of an era, as he leaves behind a lasting impact on the lives of many within the congregation.
