New Residential Project in Qualicum Beach Blends Nature and Luxury

Qualicum Beach is set to welcome a new residential project that prioritizes nature and luxury living. Developer Rob McGorman of Bayshore Construction Inc. has announced the launch of the Villas at the prestigious Pheasant Glen Golf Resort, a development that promises to integrate seamlessly into its lush surroundings while preserving the existing landscape.
One of the primary concerns of prospective buyers has been the preservation of trees in the area. McGorman confirmed, “We went with keeping all the trees. Every villa backs onto a forest.” This design choice ensures that residents will enjoy serene views without shared back fences, enhancing their connection to nature while maintaining privacy. The project embraces a West Coast architectural style that features earthy tones and blends harmoniously with the local environment.
The Villas will include a range of home options, from two-bedroom-and-den to three-bedroom, three-bathroom houses. Each unit will span between 1,788 and 2,200 square feet, offering both rancher and two-storey layouts. In addition to these residences, Pheasant Glen is expanding its amenities to include tennis and pickleball courts, a gym, and plans for a new clubhouse with a restaurant.
The development, which has been in the works for approximately 17 years, also includes future low-rise condominiums that will be separated from the Villas by a buffer of trees. Residents of the Villas will have the opportunity to join the golf club with waived initiation fees, providing immediate access to the newly enhanced amenities.
The Villas have attracted interest from homebuyers like Gerry Scott, who, along with his wife Melissa, decided to relocate to Qualicum Beach after living away for nearly four decades. The couple chose the Brandon model, making specific design alterations to ensure their home reflects their style. Scott expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating, “It’s beautiful. The views, everything, it’s incredible.”
Construction of the Villas is already underway, with foundations being laid and expected completion by early spring 2026. The interior design, led by John Larson of C.A. Design and Bayshore’s in-house designer Jordan Labas, features modern aesthetics with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors to maximize natural light. Buyers can select from three distinct interior colour palettes and enjoy customisation options for finishes and layouts.
As interest in the project continues to grow, potential buyers are encouraged to visit the sales centre located at 507 Hole-in-One Drive, Qualicum Beach, which operates daily from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. Prices for the Villas start at $1,300,000, representing a unique opportunity to invest in a serene, upscale community that embraces the natural beauty of Vancouver Island.
With an emphasis on sustainable living and luxury, the Villas at Pheasant Glen are poised to become a sought-after destination for those looking to enjoy a blend of recreation and relaxation in one of Canada’s most picturesque locales.
