Lake County Coroner’s Office Achieves Prestigious Reaccreditation

The Lake County Coroner’s Office has successfully received reaccreditation from the International Association of Coroners & Medical Examiners (IACME) after a rigorous review process. The reaccreditation process involved a comprehensive review of 285 standards across various areas, including administrative practices, forensic investigations, and facility operations. According to the IACME, the office demonstrated exemplary performance by achieving 100% compliance with mandatory standards and 90% compliance with all applicable standards.
