The Manitoba government has announced its annual Holiday Open House will take place on December 6, 2025, at the Legislative Building in Winnipeg. Premier Wab Kinew made the announcement on Thursday, inviting residents to partake in the festivities. The event offers a chance for the public to explore the historic building and engage in seasonal activities.

“I’m pleased to invite all Manitobans to our 2025 Holiday Open House,” Kinew stated. “The Legislative Building is the people’s building, and this event is one of my favourite opportunities to welcome everyone inside. I look forward to celebrating the holiday season together with music, food and plenty of festive cheer.”

The open house will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free for all ages. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to support the Christmas Cheer Board of Winnipeg, which provides assistance to families in need during the holiday season.

For those unable to attend in person, the event will be livestreamed on the province’s news website, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate in the celebration, even from afar.

This year’s open house promises a festive atmosphere, welcoming families and individuals to enjoy the spirit of the holidays in a significant civic space.
