Quickley noted, “We’re missing somebody that averages 23, 25 points a game, can get to the free-throw line, one of the top five players in transition, and also plays defence.” Quickley added that Barrett has been instrumental in their defensive strategies this season, highlighting the need for other players to step up in his absence.

In addition to Barnes’ standout performance, Quickley contributed significantly with 23 points and eight assists, shooting an impressive 83.3 percent from three-point range. The Raptors’ recent losses had interrupted a nine-game winning streak, but the victory against the Trail Blazers restored momentum.
