Google Introduces 67W Charger, Pixel 10 Cases Face Price Hike
Google is set to unveil its latest offerings at an upcoming event dedicated to the highly anticipated Pixel 10 series. Recent leaks have provided insights into new accessories, including a more powerful charger and updated cases. These developments highlight the company’s ongoing commitment to enhancing user experience through improved technology.
Enhanced Charging Options
A significant upgrade is the introduction of a new 67W dual-port power adapter, which has appeared in online listings. This new charger represents a marked improvement over last year’s 45W model. Priced at approximately CA$79 (around USD 57), it enables users to charge multiple devices simultaneously, offering convenience for those who require quick power boosts for their phones and other gadgets.
In addition to the dual-port adapter, Google is also updating its wireless charging accessories. The upcoming “Pixelsnap” wireless charger and stand combo is expected to be priced at CA$99 (around USD 72), which is a CA$10 reduction from the previous generation. This price drop may enhance its appeal, as it allows users to charge their phones while utilizing them as smart displays, particularly in home or office settings.
Rising Costs for Pixel Cases
While some accessories are seeing price reductions, not all news is favorable. The new cases for the Pixel 10 series are anticipated to carry a higher price tag. These cases, designed with built-in magnets for improved device connectivity, are expected to retail for CA$69 (around USD 50). This marks a notable increase from the previous year’s CA$49 (approximately USD 35) price point for Pixel 9 cases. The increase in cost reflects the added functionality that the magnetic feature provides.
As with all leaks, it is advisable to approach this information with cautious optimism. However, given the credible sources of these details, they are likely to hold true. With the official launch event occurring shortly, consumers can anticipate confirmation of these rumored products and their specifications.
