Infinix Launches Note 60 Ultra, First to Enable Satellite Calls

Infinix has introduced its latest smartphone, the Note 60 Ultra, during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026. This model stands out as the first commercially available phone capable of supporting satellite voice calls across multiple countries. The innovative device aims to redefine mobile communication, extending its capabilities beyond traditional cellular networks.

Design and Specifications

The Infinix Note 60 Ultra showcases a sleek design, co-created with the renowned Italian firm Pininfarina, known for its work with luxury automobiles like Ferrari. The phone features a rear constructed from a single sheet of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, which provides a seamless finish that conceals its triple camera system. This design choice, referred to as the Uni-Chassis Cam Module, is a departure from the common camera bumps seen in many smartphones today.

Adding to its unique appeal, the Note 60 Ultra incorporates a thin light strip on the back that activates when the device powers on. Additionally, it has a hidden dot-matrix display that can show notifications and even feature a virtual pet.

Under the hood, the smartphone operates on a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor, coupled with 12GB of RAM. It is powered by a robust 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Infinix claims that this battery can achieve a full charge in just 48 minutes and features self-healing technology that can recover up to 1% of battery health after every 200 charge cycles.

Camera and Display Features

The camera system on the Infinix Note 60 Ultra is equally impressive. It boasts a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HPE main sensor, complemented by a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and an ultrawide lens with a 112-degree field of view. Users can zoom up to 100x with this setup. Infinix has also equipped the device with its proprietary XDR Image Engine, designed to enhance Ultra HDR capture, particularly in challenging lighting conditions.

The display does not disappoint either, featuring a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The smartphone ships with Android 16 and promises three years of operating system updates and five years of security patches.
