Infinix has launched the NOTE 60 Ultra, a smartphone developed in collaboration with renowned Italian design firm Pininfarina. This innovative device features a unique design where the camera module, a hidden notification display, and a lighting strip are seamlessly integrated into a single flush glass surface. The design approach, known as the Uni-Chassis Cam Module, aims to eliminate the traditional camera bump that has become common in modern smartphones.

The back of the NOTE 60 Ultra is crafted from a single continuous sheet of Gorilla Glass Victus, allowing the phone to maintain a slim profile of just 7.9mm. This engineering feat not only enhances aesthetics but also reinforces the structural integrity of the device. The collaboration with Pininfarina extends beyond functionality to include four distinct color options, such as Torino Black and Monza Red, each featuring unique material treatments that reference automotive design.

At the core of the camera system is a powerful 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HPE main sensor. Its large sensor area and wide aperture facilitate high-quality image capture, enabling users to crop images without sacrificing detail. Complementing this is a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN5 periscope telephoto lens with optical image stabilization, providing a native 3.5x optical zoom that can be extended to 7x lossless zoom.

Hidden beneath the glass rear, the Active Matrix Display is an innovative dot-matrix LED panel. This display surfaces when notifications arrive and disappears when not in use, ensuring a clean aesthetic. It is capable of showing alerts, time, weather updates, and even interactive pixel pets, all while consuming no power when dormant.

The NOTE 60 Ultra also incorporates Infinix’s new XDR Image Engine, which enhances photography by managing highlights and shadows simultaneously during high-contrast scenes. This technology supports video recording at 4K 60fps with Full-Link HDR 10+, offering high-quality footage.

Inside the device, the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor operates on an all-big-core architecture, ensuring top-tier performance. Infinix has developed a proprietary optimization engine to manage CPU allocation and background memory, common in higher-end chips. The device also features a 3D IceCore cooling system designed to manage heat during intensive use.

A standout feature of the NOTE 60 Ultra is its robust 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, boasting a significantly higher energy density than previous models. It can be fully charged in just 48 minutes using 100W wired charging and also supports 50W wireless charging. Additionally, the battery includes a self-healing function that prolongs its lifespan.

One of the most innovative features is the two-way satellite communication capability through Thuraya’s GEO satellite network, which spans approximately 120 countries across Asia, Europe, and Africa. Unlike many smartphones that only offer one-way SOS messaging, the NOTE 60 Ultra enables users to make voice calls and send SMS messages, provided they have a Thuraya SIM card.

The introduction of the NOTE 60 Ultra signals a significant advancement in smartphone design and functionality, merging cutting-edge technology with sleek aesthetics. With its unique features and Pininfarina’s design influence, Infinix aims to set a new standard in the smartphone market.
