Kyle Connor Secures Eight-Year, $96 Million Extension with Jets

Kyle Connor, a prominent left-winger for the Winnipeg Jets, has committed his future to the team by signing an impressive eight-year contract extension worth US$96 million. The announcement was made by the Jets, confirming that the new deal will carry an average annual value of $12 million.
Connor’s performance last season showcased his skills, as he tallied 41 goals and 56 assists, contributing significantly to the Jets’ offensive strength. His +17 defensive rating also highlights his capability on both ends of the ice. Drafted 17th overall in the first round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, Connor has spent his entire nine-season career with Winnipeg.
Throughout his time in the NHL, Connor has amassed a total of 284 goals and 298 assists, proving himself as a key player for the franchise. His accolades include two selections as an All-Star and winning the Lady Byng Trophy in 2022, which recognizes sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct on the ice.
