A new concept by LEGO builder gpc-x is gaining attention on the LEGO Ideas platform, featuring intricately designed Carnival Masks that combine aesthetic appeal with potential wearability. These masks pay homage to the rich history of masquerade masks used during the Venetian Carnival, which dates back to the 13th century. Originally worn to allow participants anonymity during festivities, these ornate accessories have evolved into cultural symbols of intrigue.

The proposed set, which consists of two masks, employs approximately 800 bricks, showcasing gpc-x’s impressive craftsmanship. The larger mask resembles a Venetian reinterpretation of the iconic Guy Fawkes mask, designed to cover the entire face. However, its weight necessitates an alternative wearing method; gpc-x recommends mounting it on a handle, reminiscent of historical practices.
