Martin Lemay Unveils Key Contributors for Upcoming Show Launch
Martin Lemay has announced several significant contributors for his upcoming web show, titled Le Retour de Martin Lemay, set to launch on September 15, 2025. This show will air during the same time slots as the duo’s previous program on BPM Sports, at 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, indicating a strategic pivot towards digital media amidst ongoing changes in the broadcasting landscape.
Earlier this week, Lemay confirmed that former NHL players Steve Bégin and André Tourigny would join the show as contributors. Both have previously collaborated with Lemay, bringing a wealth of experience and credibility to the new venture. Now, in a series of additional announcements, Lemay has revealed that Martin Leclerc and Pierre Dorion will also be part of the show.
Leclerc, known for his insightful commentary, and Dorion, who has a background in NHL management following his tenure with the Ottawa Senators, are expected to enrich the show’s discussions. Lemay emphasized their familiarity with the hockey community, stating, “These are two people whom audiences have loved.”
In a further exciting development, it was announced that Bob Hartley, a well-respected figure in the hockey world, will contribute to the show with occasional columns. Currently coaching in Russia, Hartley’s involvement adds a unique perspective as he transitions back into the media landscape. Lemay noted, “What would Le Retour be without Bob?” This statement underscores the anticipation surrounding Hartley’s return to the show.
The show aims to provide an alternative to traditional radio broadcasts, catering to fans seeking a fresh take on hockey discussions. Lemay invites viewers to join him online, promising a format reminiscent of their successful run at BPM Sports last year.
As the launch date approaches, Lemay continues to introduce potential collaborators, with expectations running high for a dynamic presentation that engages audiences in new ways. The digital shift in media consumption is a central theme for Lemay and Marinaro, who are committed to delivering quality content in a rapidly evolving landscape.
In addition to the show announcements, various voices in the sports community are discussing related developments, such as NCAA coaches’ strategies and player assistance programs, highlighting the broader implications of these changes in the sports world.
With the debut of Le Retour de Martin Lemay just around the corner, fans are eager to see how this innovative approach will unfold. Those interested in fresh perspectives on hockey are encouraged to tune in starting on September 15.
