Mobile Food Pantry Locations Announced for October in DeKalb County
Residents of DeKalb County will have access to free food and household items throughout October as the mobile food pantry, Grow Mobile, has released its schedule for the month. Managed by the organization Rooted For Good, the initiative aims to support community well-being by providing resources to individuals and families in need, with no eligibility requirements.
The Grow Mobile pantry will make stops at various locations across DeKalb County, ensuring that those who require assistance can easily access food and essential items. The organizers have urged attendees to practice good hand hygiene and to refrain from attending if they are feeling unwell.

– **October 7**: 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Malta Historical Society, located at 127 N. Third St., Malta.
– **October 9**: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 830 N. Annie Glidden Road, DeKalb.
– **October 14**: 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Cortland Lions Club Shelter, 70 S. Llanos St., Cortland.
– **October 16**: 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Malta Historical and Genealogical Society, 127 N. Third St., Malta.
– **October 21**: 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at University Village Apartments, 722 N. Annie Glidden Road, DeKalb.
– **October 23**: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 830 N. Annie Glidden Road, DeKalb.
– **October 28**: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, 340 W. Arnold Road, Sandwich.
