Ulefone Launches RugOne Brand with Innovative Xever 7 Smartphones
Ulefone has unveiled its new RugOne sub-brand at the IFA trade show, introducing two rugged smartphones designed for outdoor enthusiasts. The flagship models, known as the Xever 7 and Xever 7 Pro, feature innovative swappable batteries and aim to deliver sustainable, durable technology.
Introducing RugOne: A Focus on Sustainability
The RugOne brand was created to address the increasing demand for environmentally friendly outdoor technology. Ulefone emphasizes that RugOne is committed to producing high-quality, long-lasting products with a focus on minimizing environmental impact. The brand’s slogan, “To Be Bold,” reflects its mission to provide robust solutions for users who value resilience and sustainability. The name ‘RugOne’ cleverly combines “rugged” with “top one,” positioning it as a leader in the outdoor tech market.
Both the Xever 7 and Xever 7 Pro smartphones feature a robust 5,550mAh battery, with each device coming equipped with two batteries and two interchangeable covers. This design allows users to effortlessly swap out batteries when needed, eliminating downtime for charging.
Advanced Features and Specifications
The RugOne Xever 7 series boasts impressive specifications that cater to users seeking high performance in challenging environments. Both models are equipped with a vibrant 6.67-inch AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. Camera capabilities are also noteworthy, with a 50-megapixel AI main camera supported by Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). Additionally, a 64-megapixel infrared night vision camera with quad IR LEDs enhances low-light photography.
While both smartphones share many core features, the Xever 7 Pro distinguishes itself with advanced thermal imaging capabilities, integrating a FLIR Lepton 3.5 thermal sensor. In contrast, the standard Xever 7 offers a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera instead of the thermal sensor, appealing to users who prioritize versatility in photography.
Both devices also include built-in eSIM capabilities and haptic feedback powered by an X-axis linear motor, ensuring a smooth user experience.
As of now, Ulefone has not disclosed the release date or pricing for the Xever 7 and Xever 7 Pro. The company is expected to provide additional details in the near future, with more information available on their social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
Ulefone’s launch of the RugOne brand and its Xever 7 series marks a significant step in the evolution of rugged smartphones, appealing to a growing market that values both functionality and sustainability in mobile technology.
