Bay of Quinte Announces 5th Annual Best of the Bay Winners

UPDATE: The results of the 5th Annual Best of the Bay have just been revealed, showcasing the community’s favorites across 274 categories in the Bay of Quinte region! Over 1,700 voters participated throughout November, casting their votes for local small businesses, attractions, and events in Belleville, Brighton, Greater Napanee, Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, and Quinte West.

The official winners are now live at BayofQuinte.ca/BestoftheBay, marking a significant celebration of local talent and community spirit. This year’s campaign, organized by the Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board, introduced a new voting structure that allowed residents to vote specifically for their individual communities, highlighting a wider array of businesses than ever before.

“It’s been really fun to see all the new winners across our region,” said Anna Fraiberg, Content and Communications Manager for the Bay of Quinte RMB. For years, Belleville and Quinte West dominated the winners’ list due to their larger populations, but now, businesses from Brighton, Greater Napanee, and Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory are receiving well-deserved recognition.

Among the 5-time winners this year are fan favorites such as:
– Tomasso’s Italian Grille
– Burger Revolution
– The Boathouse Seafood Restaurant
– Wannamaker’s Bakeshop
– Vivacious Clothing and Day Spa
– Lafferty’s Menswear

Winning businesses will proudly display a physical and digital Best of the Bay decal in their storefronts and online, symbolizing their community’s recognition and support.

In addition to celebrating local businesses, voters were entered into a draw to win a $100 gift card to their choice of Best of the Bay winning locations. The lucky winners include Paul Jennings, Sue Scott, Kim Vansteen, Hailey Robson, and David Francis, who will be contacted directly by the Bay of Quinte RMB.
