The U18 girls team delivered an extraordinary performance, going undefeated throughout the tournament and celebrating their second consecutive gold medal victory. Notably, two athletes from the team, Ayana Titifanua of Langley’s Rugby Club and Tayla Kempf, a student from D.W. Poppy Secondary School, played pivotal roles in this outstanding achievement.
In the pool stages, the girls dominated their opponents, winning decisively against Newfoundland & Labrador (41-0), Alberta (31-7), New Brunswick (24-7), and Nova Scotia (29-10). They continued their winning streak by blanking Prince Edward Island 40-0 in the quarter-finals.
