Blue Jays Aim for 2-0 World Series Lead Against Dodgers Tonight
UPDATE: The Toronto Blue Jays are set to take on the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight in Game 2 of the World Series, aiming to secure a commanding 2-0 series lead after their 11-4 victory in Game 1. The highly anticipated matchup will take place at Rogers Centre at 8 p.m. ET.
After a thrilling return to the Fall Classic, the Blue Jays are riding high on momentum. Rookie Addison Barger made history with the first pinch-hit grand slam ever recorded in the World Series, propelling his team to victory. Barger expressed his excitement, stating, “I wasn’t really thinking anything other than get a run home. It was special.”
Tonight, the Blue Jays’ ace Kevin Gausman will take the mound against Dodgers’ right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Fans are eager to see if Gausman can replicate the team’s explosive performance from Game 1.

As the excitement builds, George Springer reflected on the crowd’s energy during Game 1, particularly the cheers for star player Shohei Ohtani. “At the end of the day, he’s an unbelievable baseball player,” Springer said, acknowledging the competitiveness of the series.
Metrolinx has announced four additional trips from Union Station to help fans get home after the game, ensuring that everyone can celebrate the Jays’ potential victory.
