Brandon Ingram Shines as Raptors Extend Winning Streak to 8
UPDATE: Brandon Ingram is making waves in Toronto as he leads the Raptors to a thrilling 110-99 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, extending their winning streak to eight consecutive games on November 24, 2025. Ingram’s explosive performance, scoring a season-high 37 points, marks a pivotal moment in his transition to the Raptors.
Ingram expressed his enthusiasm for being a Raptor, particularly praising head coach Darko Rajakovic for his infectious energy. “I guess Darko coming into the locker room, yelling… He brings the energy every single day. He’s the leader of our team,” Ingram said, highlighting Rajakovic’s daily motivation and presence.
Ingram’s performance was critical, especially in the third quarter, where he scored 15 points, helping the Raptors outscore the Cavaliers 31-22. His aggressive play and sharp shooting were complemented by solid defense, pulling down seven rebounds and contributing to the team’s overall success.
“When he gets going like that… give him the ball,” said point guard Jamal Shead, emphasizing Ingram’s ability to make crucial plays.
Rajakovic praised Ingram’s all-around game, noting his defensive contributions alongside his scoring prowess. “He is doing it both ways on the floor, and he is really helping us to get wins,” Rajakovic stated.
With a record of 13-5, the Raptors sit atop the Atlantic Division, currently two games ahead of the New York Knicks and just 2.5 games behind the first-place Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference. The team’s momentum is palpable, but Ingram insists that the focus remains on daily improvement rather than streaks.
“We take it by the day. We know every day is an opportunity to get better,” he noted, reflecting the team’s commitment to continuous growth.
Next up, the Raptors will face the struggling Indiana Pacers, who currently hold a dismal record of 2-15, on Wednesday. With the potential to extend their winning streak further, Toronto is poised to capitalize on their recent success.
“We’re turning it around from last year,” Shead remarked, pointing to the team’s potential and collaborative effort. “I think everybody’s been tremendous. I think all, like 13 guys that play, all come in and contribute.”
The Raptors’ recent form and Ingram’s standout performances are drawing attention and excitement as they continue to build momentum in the early stages of the season. Fans and analysts alike will be watching closely to see if Toronto can maintain their impressive run.
