Brandon Ingram Shines with 33 Points as Raptors Beat Bulls 123-107
UPDATE: Brandon Ingram marked his one-year anniversary with the Toronto Raptors in spectacular fashion, dropping 33 points in a commanding 123-107 victory over the Chicago Bulls on February 5, 2026. This thrilling match at Scotiabank Arena solidified the Raptors’ standing with a record of 31-22 as they celebrated their second win in three games.
Ingram’s performance was electric, scoring 22 points in the first half alone. This marks the fourth time this season he has achieved such a feat in a half. The Raptors showcased their depth, with all five starters hitting double figures. Point guard Immanuel Quickley contributed 24 points, while rookie Collin Murray-Boyles added 17 points, Scottie Barnes netted 13 points, and Ja’Kobe Walter chipped in with 12 points. Off the bench, Sandro Mamukelashvili made an impact with 17 points.
The Bulls, currently at 24-28, saw newcomer Anfernee Simons lead their scoring with 22 points, followed closely by Matas Buzelis with 18 points. However, the Bulls struggled to match the Raptors’ intensity throughout the game, especially after Ingram hit a crucial three-pointer with 6:39 remaining in the third quarter, tying the contest at 76-76.
In a concerning development for Toronto, RJ Barrett of Mississauga, Ont. sat out due to a right knee ailment that has previously sidelined him for 16 games. Head coach Darko Rajakovic indicated that Barrett was resting in preparation for a strenuous schedule, including a back-to-back game scenario. Meanwhile, the Raptors continue to manage injuries, with Jakob Poeltl missing his 23rd consecutive game due to a lower-back strain, though there is hope for his return before the All-Star Game.
The Raptors are poised to conclude a five-game homestand with a matchup against the Indiana Pacers on Super Bowl Sunday. The Bulls will seek redemption as they host the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.
This victory not only marks a significant moment for Ingram but also for the Raptors, who have already surpassed last season’s total of 30 wins with 29 games still remaining in the season. Fans are buzzing with excitement as Toronto gears up for the remainder of the season, making this a pivotal moment in their campaign.
