Founder of Punjabi Devils Motorcycle Club Pleads Guilty to Firearms Charges
BREAKING: Jashanpreet Singh, the 27-year-old founder of the notorious Punjabi Devils Motorcycle Club in Stockton, California, has pleaded guilty to serious federal firearms charges, including unlawfully dealing in firearms and unlawfully possessing a machine gun. This urgent development was confirmed by U.S. Attorney Eric Grant earlier today.
Court documents reveal that on June 6, 2025, Singh attempted to sell a cache of dangerous weapons to an undercover officer. His arsenal included a short-barreled rifle, three assault weapons, three machine gun conversion devices, and a revolver. The situation escalated further when law enforcement discovered additional firearms at Singh’s residence, including a machine gun and a silencer. More shockingly, officers found a pineapple-style hand grenade and what is believed to be a military-grade claymore mine. The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department bomb squad safely destroyed these explosives on-site.
Singh’s legal troubles intensified when he failed to appear in court for state charges on July 21, 2025, prompting a bench warrant for his arrest. Just days later, on July 23, 2025, the FBI received an alert from U.S. Customs and Border Protection that Singh had booked a flight to India. Authorities apprehended him at San Francisco International Airport on July 26, 2025, preventing his escape.
This case is a significant aspect of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative by the Department of Justice aimed at combating illegal immigration and dismantling violent criminal organizations. Singh is currently in federal custody and is scheduled for sentencing on May 11, 2026. He faces a maximum of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine for unlawfully dealing in firearms, and up to ten years for unlawfully possessing a machine gun.
The implications of this case extend beyond Singh, affecting community safety amid rising concerns over illegal firearms and gang violence. As this story develops, it raises urgent questions about the effectiveness of current measures against organized crime and the safety of residents in Stockton and beyond.
