In a swift response to reckless driving, authorities confirmed that two drivers were caught exceeding the speed limit by more than double, sparking public safety concerns in the area.
Authorities report that an 18-year-old man from LaSalle was clocked at 116 km/h on Front Rd, while a 43-year-old woman from Windsor was recorded at 105 km/h on Malden Rd, both in a 50 km/h zone. These alarming speeds resulted in immediate consequences: both drivers had their licences suspended for 30 days and their vehicles impounded for 14 days. They are slated to appear in court to respond to the charges.

This urgent crackdown on dangerous driving reflects ongoing efforts by LaSalle police to enhance safety measures and deter reckless behavior. Residents are advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious or dangerous driving behavior.
The LaSalle police continue to monitor the situation closely, emphasizing that such high-risk driving will not be tolerated. As investigations proceed, community members can expect further updates on these cases as they develop.
