Free Lunch Event Set for October 11 in Streator—Join Now!
URGENT UPDATE: A free lunch event is officially scheduled for Saturday, October 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Park Place, located at 406 E. Hickory St., Streator. Hosted by St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, this community meal promises to be a highlight for locals in need.
The menu features a delicious lineup including chicken and noodles, green beans with bacon and onion, bread, pudding/jello, dessert, and a beverage. This meal is free and open to the public, making it accessible for everyone in the Streator area.
Dine-in and carryout options will be available, ensuring that attendees can enjoy their meal in whatever way suits them best. The free lunch program is generously sponsored by local organizations, including the Deacons and the Hardscrabble Lions, showcasing their commitment to community service and support.
