Frosty Mornings Transform New Brunswick’s Landscape – Share Your Photos!
UPDATE: New Brunswick is experiencing a stunning transformation as chilly mornings and frost-covered landscapes become the new norm. Residents are capturing breathtaking scenes across the province, showcasing the beauty of nature during this seasonal shift.
As the sun rises over frosty branches, locals are urged to grab their cameras and send in photos for a chance to be featured in next week’s edition. This call for submissions is a golden opportunity for everyone to share their unique perspectives on New Brunswick’s autumn scenery. Interested participants should email their photos to [email protected], ensuring to include their name and the photo’s location.
Local wildlife is on display as well. Charlene Turcotte from Miramichi reports a daily visitor to her home: a red squirrel that now enjoys walnuts as treats. Meanwhile, Shawn MacDonald spotted a vibrant red-bellied woodpecker in downtown Fredericton, adding a splash of color to the chilly mornings.
Adventurers are making the most of the fall season. Todd Barber, a frequent visitor from Pasadena, California, spent six days exploring New Brunswick this October, visiting 80 percent of its lighthouses and 95 percent of its covered bridges. His journey included a stop at the iconic Camerons Mill Covered Bridge near Saint-Ignace, capturing memories that will last a lifetime.
Photographers are also sharing stunning images, including dew droplets along the Keswick River by Heather Olmstead and a colorful sunset in Oak Bay from Michael Weismiller. The fall foliage continues to mesmerize, with aerial views taken by Jim Turnbull in Saint John reflecting the vibrant colors of the season.
This community-driven initiative not only highlights the beauty of New Brunswick but also fosters a sense of belonging among residents. The call for submissions emphasizes the importance of local stories and experiences, inviting everyone to contribute their lens on the breathtaking landscapes.
Residents are reminded to avoid submitting black-and-white or heavily edited photos, as these will not be published. Watermarks will be cropped out, ensuring a clean and professional presentation. All selected submissions will receive credit and may also be featured on other platforms, including the suppertime TV newscast.
This is an exciting opportunity for the community to connect and celebrate the natural beauty of New Brunswick. Don’t miss your chance to share your moments! Email your photos with the subject line “Your Lens” to [email protected] today.
As frost continues to blanket New Brunswick, residents are encouraged to embrace the season, capturing and sharing the wonder around them. Stay tuned for more stunning visuals and stories from your neighbors as they showcase what makes this province unique.
