The following individuals have been arrested and charged:
– **Austin Wright**, a 24-year-old from Newcastle, faces serious charges, including:
– Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
– Carrying a concealed weapon
– Careless use of a firearm
– Unauthorized possession of a firearm
– Occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm
– Possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order
Wright has been held for a bail hearing following the incident.
– **Kael Davis**, a 22-year-old from Toronto, has been charged with:
– Occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm
– Driving with a held communications device under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA)
– Driving with cannabis readily available under the Cannabis Control Act (CCA)
– Failing to have an insurance card under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act (CAIA)
Davis has been released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in February.
– **Miciah Williams**, a 21-year-old from Scarborough, has also been charged with being an occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm. He has similarly been released on an Undertaking with a court date in February.
