UPDATE: The Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board (HPCDSB) urgently seeks host families for the 2025-2026 school year, as their International Student Program continues to grow. This initiative, aimed at providing students from across the globe with an enriching Canadian educational experience, is now in immediate need of local families in Huron and Perth Counties.

Just announced, students from Brazil, Spain, and Japan have already been accepted for enrollment in September 2025 at either St. Anne’s Catholic Secondary School in Clinton or St. Michael Catholic Secondary School in Stratford. With additional applications rolling in from these countries and beyond, HPCDSB is actively seeking families willing to open their homes to international students for either one semester or the entire school year.

This partnership with MLI Homestay not only enriches the students’ lives but also offers host families compensation for their support. Families will provide three nutritious meals daily, a private room with essential furnishings, a shared bathroom, and supervised internet access—ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for students.

HPCDSB emphasizes that this program not only enhances cultural exchange but also allows families to engage in a unique experience that fosters global understanding and friendship. As the demand for host families increases, interested individuals or families are encouraged to act swiftly.

This is a critical opportunity for local families to make a profound impact in the lives of international students while sharing the beauty of Canadian culture. Don’t miss this chance to be a part of something transformative—reach out today!
