Hurricane Erin Strikes East Coast; Life-Threatening Waves Loom

In Turks and Caicos, public services were suspended on the largest island as the storm passed, and over 150,000 residents in Puerto Rico lost power due to high winds damaging electricity lines, according to local energy company Luma.
