J.T. Miller’s OT Goal Lifts Rangers Over Canadiens 5-4 in Thrilling Finish

Miller clinched a dramatic victory for the New York Rangers with a power play goal just 2:56 into overtime, propelling the team to a 5-4 win against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night. This nail-biting match saw the Rangers overcome a daunting 3-0 deficit early in the game, marking their first win after a three-game skid.
The Rangers rallied with goals from Will Cuylle, Noah Laba, and Artemi Panarin, showcasing their resilience as they fought back from trailing at multiple points. Miller’s second goal of the night, his ninth of the season, sealed the victory after the teams combined for eight goals in the opening 28 minutes. The second period saw Anderson briefly restore a two-goal margin for Montreal at 3:17, but the Rangers quickly equalized. Cuylle scored at 7:22, followed by Miller’s tying goal at 7:58. The intensity of the game was palpable as it shifted into overtime, where Miller ultimately triumphed.
