Jitters Coffee Shop Launches ‘The Cozy Corner’ Library Initiative

URGENT UPDATE: Jitters Coffee Shop in Joliet has just announced an exciting new initiative called The Cozy Corner, a dedicated reading nook that aims to create a welcoming space for book lovers. Starting now, the café is actively seeking gently used books for all ages to help build its library.
According to a post on Jitters’ Facebook page, The Cozy Corner will offer a relaxing environment where guests can unwind with an array of books. “Kids’ books, adult books, short reads, long reads – we want it all!” the café shared, inviting the community to contribute.
Now is the time to dig through your shelves! Patrons can drop off books at Jitters from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. The coffee shop is located at 178 N. Chicago St. in Joliet. For those unable to visit during these hours, arrangements for book pickup can be made by calling 815-740-0048.
This initiative not only promotes literacy but also fosters a sense of community among local residents. By contributing books, you can help create a vibrant space that encourages reading and connection among visitors.
