UPDATE: Kaneland’s Kailey Kunstman has just secured the individual title at the Interstate 8 Conference Championship, held today at the Sycamore Golf Club. Kunstman delivered a stellar performance, shooting an impressive 83, leading her team to a total score of 385 and claiming the coveted team championship.

The competition saw Sycamore-DeKalb finish in third place with a score of 421. Meadow Davis of Sycamore-DeKalb finished strong in second place with a score of 94. Other noteworthy performances included Samantha Maxwell, who shot 103 for eighth place, and Brighton Davoust of Kaneland, who came in sixth with a score of 98.

The tournament brought together golf teams from Kaneland, the DeKalb-Sycamore co-op, Rochelle, LaSalle-Peru, and Ottawa, showcasing some of the best young talent in the region. The excitement was palpable as fans gathered to support their teams, making this event a highlight of the girls’ golf season.
