Kankakee Estival Festival Returns with 25+ Acts, Sept. 20
URGENT UPDATE: The highly anticipated Kankakee Estival Festival is set to kick off its fifth annual celebration on Saturday, September 20, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the Don Palzer Band Shell in Kankakee. This beloved local event, also known as “Esty Fest,” promises an exciting lineup featuring over 25 local musical acts, making it a must-attend for music lovers and families alike.
Festival organizers are eager to showcase the diverse talent of Kankakee County and surrounding areas, focusing on original music and performances. The event is powered by the nonprofit organization CIRKA (Collaborative Initiative to Revive Kankakee Arts), founded by six passionate local musicians. According to their official statement, “This event is a celebration of the original local musicians and artists in Kankakee County and the surrounding areas.”
The Estival Festival is free and open to all ages, with donations welcome to support future arts initiatives. Attendees can expect a lively atmosphere filled with music, arts, and a variety of food and beer vendors.
