Kitchener High School Secured Amid Weapon Investigation
UPDATE: A Kitchener high school was placed under a hold and secure this morning following a reported weapon incident. The situation unfolded around 11:35 a.m. near Eastwood Collegiate Institute, prompting a rapid response from the Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS).
Parents and students were notified of the hold and secure protocols just after 11:45 a.m., as the police directed the school to implement safety measures.
