Kitchener Man Charged with Second-Degree Murder in Dundas Shooting

BREAKING: Two suspects have been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of 27-year-old Zachary Shuman in Dundas. The Hamilton Police Service made the announcement following multiple 911 calls reporting gunfire in the vicinity of 77 Governor’s Road on July 27, 2023, around 5 p.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Shuman unresponsive. He was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. Investigators quickly identified two suspects connected to this tragic incident. A 30-year-old man from Dundas was arrested on August 10, followed by the arrest of a 27-year-old man from Kitchener on August 11. Authorities confirmed that both individuals were known to the victim.
