Lloyd Evans, Beloved Family Man, Passes Away at 86

URGENT NEWS: Lloyd Evans, a cherished family figure, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025, at the age of 86, surrounded by his loving family at the Sault Area Hospital.

Evans, who devoted over 66 years to his beloved wife, Jo-Anne Evans (Hall), leaves behind a legacy of love and strength. He was a proud father to Steven (Jane), Vicky, Daren (Susan), Jodi, and special son-in-law Frank Sehovic. His family, which includes eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, remembers him fondly.

In a heartfelt statement, the family expressed their sorrow, noting Lloyd’s profound impact on their lives. “He was not just a father and grandfather; he was a guiding light for all of us,” they shared.

Lloyd Evans was predeceased by his parents, Elsie and Ernie Evans, and was the beloved brother to 12 siblings. His surviving family includes brothers Ron (Barb), Merle (Linda), and Larry (Judy), among others.

In accordance with Lloyd’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
