Lombard Garden Club Opens Applications for $3,000 Scholarships

The Lombard Garden Club is now accepting applications for its college scholarships for the year 2026. These scholarships, worth up to $3,000 each, are available to residents of Lombard who are high school seniors, home-schooled students, or those currently enrolled in a college program.

Eligibility and Application Requirements

To qualify for these scholarships, applicants must be residents of Lombard and pursue a career in fields such as horticulture, ecology, landscape design, agriculture, environmental conservation, botany, or forestry. A minimum academic requirement of a “C” average or better is necessary, which must be verified by a transcript.

In addition to academic qualifications, the Lombard Garden Club encourages participation in extracurricular activities. Applicants are required to submit two letters of recommendation from teachers or school counselors, along with a personal statement outlining their career goals.
