Man Dead After Assault in East Gwillimbury; Suspect Arrested

URGENT UPDATE: A man is dead and one suspect is in custody following a brutal late-night assault in East Gwillimbury, Ontario. Emergency services were dispatched to the area of Queensville Sideroad and Yonge Street at approximately 11:25 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023, after receiving reports of an “assault in progress.”

Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male suffering from critical injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
